Blue tinged with green, holding all the love in the world. Eyes the color of the sea, perfectly calm. A place to retreat to, a place that lays me bare when all I want is to hide. A beauty that holds me, keeps me there in all my vulnerability. A deep blue that is the color of love. Love that reflects me in ways I can’t see. My face held there, covered by love and the beauty perceived by it. The pain I try to hide, the love I try to show, the happiness I can’t help but exude, it’s all seen for what it is by that piercing blue. My walls torn down, my masks cast away. Only me, bare and true, floating in a love of blue-green.
